Case Study 1: Cell phone client to post its location
This project was a client program which runs on a cell phone. This client program  gets the location (GPS if possible) of the handset, and periodically posts its latitude and longitude coordinates to a web site. The parameters of the client program are:
1. The name of the web site
2. The frequency of updates
This client  runs on the most popular handset that supports getting and sending its location.

Case Study 2: BB CallerID and Mail Reader using the Neospeech TTS Web Service
This small application had 2 main features.
1. CallerID voice notifier. Automatically speaks the name (CallerID) of incoming calls to the BB phone.
2. Email/message reader When a new message is received, the app prompts the user with "New message received. Shall I read it to you?".
Registration/License key feature. Using a single set of source code for Demo and Registered versions. Registered users receive a License Key the enables the full version features. The License Key is BB specific and cannot be used on a different BB to prevent illegal copying/distribution. Thus, the License Key contains the encrypted identifier of the users BB. Demo version has a 7 day limitation.
Shopping cart integration with existing Godaddy.com Shopping Cart. Demo users can initiate on-line order and receive License Key via email.

Case Study 3: Mobile Ticker
The project was to build a unique handset based application that sits on mobile phones to present information to Subscribers.The application constitutes of two components:
a) Information Server (Backend Server)
This Node facilitates Operators with the capability to upload and manage Information Content from different sources. All this is achieved through user-friendly web based administrative tools.
      1) Service Creation Tool
      2) Content Provider Management
      3) Client Delivery Module
      4) MIS
b) Ticker Client (Mobile Handset)
The Client icon is visible in the handset menu option. On selecting the same, Subscriber can acess to the services.

Case Study 1: Enhancements, migration and development of modules for a Leading B2B site.
This project was executed for a leading B2B company in Asia Pacific Region. The company provides portals for industry and medical searches in Australia and UK. The project involved migrating this large site from ASP to .NET. OAT proposed & executed a phase wise approach for migration to allow for smooth transition. Enhancements to the store front and creation of CRM modules is an ongoing activity for this client.

Case Study 2: .NET to Win32 interoperability.
This project was executed for Enterprise Content Management product company in Australia. There was a requirement to make use of code written in .Net, in Win322 dll without using COM interoperability. OAT performed the R&D to finalize the “Inverse P/Invoke” strategy as a solution. R&D included defining Marshalling, Memory Management, Automation process to achieve this along with a sample code for 4-5 typical .Net types (structures, arrays etc).

Case Study 3: Performance Improvement for a .NET based intranet application for a US product company.
This project was executed for a leading anti spyware company based in US. The company provides products for real time detection and removal of spyware in user’s PC. The project involved maximizing output from spyware research lab by improving performance of a .net based panel used for Spyware Research and review. The application was made more robust and scalable keeping the growth of users in mind. OAT reviewed the entire panel code and identified improvement areas for tactical and strategic solutions. The tactical solution included .net design improvement like query building and DB access methods. The strategic solution was created based on the .net best practices resulting improvement of a factor of 100.

Case Study 4: Interface Implementation for a Enterprise Content Management product company.
This project was executed for Enterprise Content Management product company in Australia. It involved developing SQL Server and Oracle Interfaces for the product to extend product functionality. OAT team provided the interface implementations that allow easy integration of product with Oracle and SQL server databases. Re-usable generic & modular code was delivered. The code will allow easy upgrade and integration for future versions of SQL Server and Oracle. Comprehensive help files and API documentation. List of enhancement suggestions for future upgrade of the product.

Case Study 5: Product Lifecycle Management for a leading anti spyware US company.
This project was executed for a leading anti spyware company based in US. The company provides products for real time detection and removal of spyware in user’s PC. OAT helped define & implement the live updates solution that reduced the live update file size by more than 95%. In addition OAT helped define documentation, process and quality standards and helped the client define a more rigorous threat level logic.

Case Study 6: Development of SaaS
The company had an autotrader platform that it wanted to be converted into a software as a service system deivered through the internet. They used QTXL and Quotetracker.com for both stock data feed and the bridging software connecting the feed to the excel platform.

Case Study 7: Online database management for a  fitness club chain
Earlier the company used a MS Access database for mportant information to be stored for the Health Club sector. Though this MS Access database worked great for an individual Health Club, however the fitness club chain wanted the to migrate the back end to SQL and develop a new front end on ASP.NET so that it becomes accessable on the internet.
